MOHALI: Where residents of Mohali are having a tough time as just few hours are left for the most awaited semi-final clash, residents of six buildings adjacent to PCA stadium seem to be in joyful mood as they are going to enjoy the ball-by-ball action from their rooftop having uninterrupted view.
Earlier people were not permitted to stand on their rooftops due to security reasons as cops were to be deployed on the rooftops of the buildings.

Security will now no more hinder the mood of cricket as residents of the buildings will be allowed to step up on the roofs after making mandatory security formalities.
''We will allow the residents to watch the match once the VIP cavalcades pass through. Only residents of the building will be allowed to watch the match from roof-tops. We will first search them, only after that will they be allowed to step-up on the roofs,'' said Raj Singh, a constable deployed on the roof of a building.
''We will be watching the match tomorrow from the roof top. I have taken off from my school and I am very enthusiastic about the match. So what if I am not in the stadium, I will be close to it,'' said Raghav Sharma, who lives near the stadium.
Not bothering about hot weather conditions, Nisha Rana, a resident of the area, said, ''We have watched so many matches from the roof of the building earlier also. I am happy that we will not miss real action,'' she added.
